05gtlimited300
anyone running 235/40/18 tires with their car dropped on pinks (or something close). Im still debating whether to go with 235 or more commonly 225. Im mostly concerned with rubbing and clearence. These will go on 18x8 et48 rotas
JonLGT
You should be fine. I ran them on 18x8 +45 lowered on coilovers and didnt rub. Here is a pic of how close it was. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v331/jon3kgt/DSC_0522.jpg
tjwilke
I was running 235/40/18 on h-techs with stock struts and was very close as well but did not rub. I had to remove the black rubber strip around the wheel well though. I imagine you should be fine.
rs6er
I'm running 235/40/18 on 18x8.5+48 DPT with Ion HD springs. No rub. My wheels stick out farther than JonLGT, but I'm not as low.
maddoc
I'm running 235/40/18 on 18x8.5+48 DPT with Ion HD springs. No rub. My wheels stick out farther than JonLGT, but I'm not as low. Thats probably because he's running more negative camber than you I have 18x8.5 +48 SVNs and I'm running 235/40/18. I do get some rubbing on the front over hard bumps. But I'm going to be dialing in some more negative camber to take care of that.
