Money no option...perfect Legacy build

Lets say that money is not an option, and you were building the perfect all around Legacy, that is daily driven, aesthetically appealing, but vicious on the track....what would you do..

Just trying to see what some of y'alls heads can come up with...anyway could help some people along the way

05 LGT Limited Sedan Turbo 5EAT..just to piss off the MT owners..in DGM

Exterior-STI Lip, JDM spats all around, JDM Bumper, AVO grille, roof wing ala WRX STi, Gialla WIng, STI emblems, STI LEGACY stickers on the sides, JDM eyelids, blacked out headlights w/ HID and Angel eyes, tail tint, rainguards, and TEIN hood dampers, carbon hood,carbon trunk

Interior-Black Leather, JDM arm extension, carbon accents, cubby pods w/ boost, and AF ratio

Suspension-Tein Flex coilovers w/ EDFC, Whiteline F and R sways, Cusco strut bars F and R, suspension techniques bushings

Engine- Cosworth block and pistons, STi Conversion w/ GTR35BB turbo, FMIC, Perrin Fuel Rails, ITR transmission rebuild, Walbro 255lph fuel pump, and 830cc injectors

Exhaust- Sti UP, 3" Autospeed non catted TBE, Perrin Headers

Engine Tuning- IA performance 93 octane/101 octane tunes

Wheels- 18x8 Volk CE37 in gold with a red lip

Tires- Perelli P-Zero 235/40/ZR18

ICE- Navigation, DVD headrest, Bose all around/ 2x12 Rockford Fosgates mounted in the trunk w/ 2x1000 watt amps, alpine headunit and CD controller...that would be all me...:D

if money wasnt an option i wouldnt be hooking up a legacy, lol

 

that said, basically I'm happy the way my car has turned out- a set of coilovers and I have addressed everything on your list

Turbo: GT30R + Meth

Exterior: full RBS treatment + JDM spats + 20% tint all around, 50% windshield

Interior: real carbon fiber kit, red stitched armrest/shift boot

Suspension F/R sways (spirngs for now but coilovers next)

Engine: stock block all supporting mods (maybe I'd splurge on forged pistons + cams)

Exhaust: custom up/dp external dump, gt spec headers autospeed catback

Engine Tuning: cobb ap v2 w/ launch control/ flat foot shifting

Wheels/Tires: 18" Work emotion cr kais (work metal buffing finish) bridgestone s-03s

Stereo/ICE: 3sixty.2 2 10" boston subs 2 elemental designs amps + interiors

Brakes: racing brake 332mm front kit + 316mm rear kit

Bushings: cobb tranny, super pro lcas, kartboy shifter, TIC crossmembers

Here's what's on my car right now. It was not a "money no object" build, and I certainly don't consider it perfect, but I like it just fine :)

 

Even with the cost of the car and all the parts listed below, the car still cost me much less than an M3 or M5 (both cars I LOVE), while having more than enough power to run down much faster and more exotic cars.

Car – Right hand drive legacy

engine -

JDM legacy 2.0GT twinscroll turbo Spec B STi version further modded with things like intakes and FMICs and so from companies like HKS, Trial, Blitz

Interior -

black leather interior would be nice. might switch the front two seats to bride racing seats compatible for 6 point harnesses for track racing.

turbo boost meter – everything else can be shown on the navi screen

car pc, tv tuner, navigation...not really into audio improvement. mcintosh stereo might be good enough for me.

exterior -

prefer SWP MY05 type body

RBS black grill with Subaru badge in center and STi badge on the left

JDM 2.0GT Spec B front bumper with STi lip

JDM Spats can be SWP or CF like

rear windscreen wiper to improve the JDMness

rear windows and winshield tinted, STi lip spoiler

HIDs and fogs, LED rear lights

exhaust –

HKS/Greddy (TRUST) type exhaust or same exhaust with silencer to increase sleeperness

wheels –

Volks CE28N Bronze 18” for street. Track – undecided

Brakes –

brembo racing kit

suspension -

preferable adjustable ones suited to racing/drifting and comfort street driving

car will be lowered slightly – don’t like stock height…
