White / Paint Discolorment

I'm interested in getting a white 2005 legacy.. however, I'm worried that the paint would discolor over time. The situation with my car is that it will be parked outdoors. I'm located in Canada, so it will endure some harsh winters as well. Will the white stay white? or would I be better off with another color, such as black? Thanks! :|

All paint will fade over time. Each color does it differently. In addition, reds, blacks, and other dark colors oxidize a bit too. As long as you protect the paint with frequent washings and either wax (if you like doing it often) or a synthetic sealant like Klasse or Zaino and a polish when it needs it, the paint should look good for years to come.

In my experience, you have to be pretty vigilant with white. Once it gets too oxidized and chalky, it's hard to bring it back. Also, stains are a bitch.
