spb
How important are service records when buying a used car under warranty? Looking at a 2013 legacy. Carfax says: 3000mi - Oil change 6900mi - Oil change 12200mi - offered for sale (current mileage) Should I be concerned about last oil change being done 5300+ miles ago? I know if anything happens to the engine, first thing they check is service records..
GEE-OTTO
2013 is a N/A and 5300 might be done too soon Service wise that is fine the N/A isn't an oil abuser or user. Also you still have 23K miles of FULL warranty and the 60K power train . I would be more concerned about transmission if it is a MT model.
987687
They're rated for some insanely long OCI like 7500 miles or something. Just one long oil change isn't gonna hurt it any.
Drift Motion
carfax doesn't show ALL services done to the car...

987687
Yea, I've gotta make sure they know about all the JDM YO parts. Let kbb know, too. It increases the resale value.
MrTris
Oh gee, I guess I better send them my note book full of what I've done to the my wagon... You can actually setup your own records on my.subaru. Punch in the VIN and claim ownership, then start adding service records and shit.
