Saw this thread over on NASIOC and thought it might be fun for us more mature guys (hopefully I won't be flamed for some reason).

 

93 - '84 Bronco 4x4 (saved $3K by the time I was 15)

97 - '76 Jaguar XJS (sold Bronco to pay for college - Jag was handed down from my dad - had a 350 in it)

01 - '01 Hyundai Elantra GT hatchback (traded in Jag)

07 - '08 Subaru 3.0R :wub: (traded in Elantra)

1998 - 86 Camaro 2.8 MPFI (Kept dying, pumped $2500 into it only to find out after I traded it in it took a $0.50 wire splice to fix a short going to the fuel pump.)

 

1999 - 96 Civic LX(Needed a dependable car for college, parents helped out with payments as long as I stayed in school and got good grades)

 

2005 - 01 Integra GSR (Fun car after college. Drove it in the summer and the Civic in the winter)

 

2007 - 07 Legacy GT (Traded in the Integra and sold the Civic to a private party)

93----- 77 lincoln Contenintal Town Car(solid aluminum wheels!)

94----- 72 Dodge Truck(wen through 3 differnent 318 motors)

95----- 92- Toyota Trecel 2dr (got totaled by a non licensed driver)

97------98 Mitsubish Mirage DX (solid point A-to-B car)

03----- 2002 Dodge Stratus and Mirage still(Ex took the stratus traded in for a a 06 Matrix)

05----- 2005 VW Jetta GLI ( Traded in Mirage for this, first "modded" car, got a 13.9 1/4 outta it,then traded in for the LGT)

07----- 2008 LGT (May 07)

1994 -- '87 Nissan pickup (hand-me-down from sister; totaled)

1996 -- '92 F150 (AC compressor issues; cylinder cracked, rebuilt @ ~110K mi; traded in for Cougar)

1999 -- '99 Mercury Cougar V6 (fuel pump needed replacing and sunroof rail broke; traded in for Vue)

2001 -- '99 Saturn SL (came along with my wife when I got married; sold to replace with her sister's SL1)

2003 -- '99 Saturn SL1 (cylinder head cracked @ ~78K mi, engine+clutch replaced; sold to get Legacy)

2004 -- '04 Saturn Vue AWD V6 (now @ ~59K mi)

2005 -- '05 Legacy GT (now @ ~36K mi)

'00 - 93 Hyundai Elantra (Bought for $1500, a few months later it was totaled out for $3000. Lucky me!)

'01 - 89 Pontiac Grand Prix SE (Total POS)

'01- 98 Pontiac Sunfire GT (Magnet for other cars to bump/scrape against it. Even my mom hit it in our own driveway!)

'07 - 05 OBP Legacy GT 5MT (Bought in August with 37K and it has 51K now. I drive a lot for work)

1999- 1990 4.3l S-10 rims lowered exhaust bought for $1500 fixed the rust painted it and sold it for $3000:)

 

2001- 1994 black Civic 2dr catless header back exhaust intake TSW 17"

 

2003- 2000 white Civic Hb Exhaust 16" RED Rota Track-r's:rolleyes:

 

2007- 2005 ABP Legacy Gt Stage 1:spin:

 

Last three manual tranny

1997- 1979 dodge power wagon(its a truck) w 318 interceptor motor

 

1997-1999- 1981 celica gt(gave to friend when i grad hs, he gave to brother when he grad the next year his brother blew a rod car had 189,000 miles on it)

 

2000-2002- 1991 isuzu stylus gs with handling by lotus droped chrome yellow paint ricer wing and fart cannon sold when i went to korea.

 

2002-2003- 1999 ford mustang gt. blue nothing done to it(soldwhen i went to iraq)

 

2003-2004- 2004 dodge intrepid(got it just cause i needed a car and the traded in for durango)

 

2004-2005 2002 dodge durango(traded for suby sometimes i miss it)

 

2006- present 2005 LGT

98 - 1987 Honda Accord LXi - had it for a year and put almost as much money into fixing it as it originally cost

00 - 2000 Honda civic ex - nice car for a new college grad, but slow as hell

01 - 1991 Eagle Talon - never actually ran --good thing I still had the civic

02 - 1991 Eagle Talon - second dsm, third car that I owned at the time. I still have this one

02 - 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V - hunk of shit

05 - LGT! My favorite so far...

'06- present 2005 LGT wgn 5mt (~36,500)

 

I find something i like and stick with it, although i may be selling the truck soon to get a newer tacoma.

'99 - 98 Nissan Sentra GXE (1.6 Auto - Hated the tranny soooo much that I swore to never get an automatic again...) handed down to my brother

'02 - 01 Nissan Sentra SE (2.0L 5mt) salvage title, sold recently for $1800 lol

 

'06 - 00 Volkswagen Golf GLS (1.8t 5mt) bought it for my wife.

'07 - 06 2.5i Legacy Wagon

1979 Malibu- got it when i was 15 with a 6 cylinder, dropped a bored 355 and a turbo 350 trans in drove it from 16-17.

2-1992 talons

1-91 GS-T made 312fwhp

1996 Firebird formula LT1- exhaust and 3.73 rear end gears ran a 13.6

1987 supra got it made 217rwhp- now it makes 517rwhp and ran an 11.09

2000 Trans Am 6speed- made 357rwhp with 3 bolt ons ran 12.6s-12.9s consistently

93 - 88 Mazda 626 Turbo (passed down from dad, engine died after 8 months)

94 - 93 Toyota Paseo (totaled in head-on collision)

95 - 92 Honda Accord - took me around the country following some band 4 times

02 - 99 Outback Ltd

04 - 04 WRX Wagon

05 - 04 STI

07 - 05 LGT Wagon

08 - ?? deciding whether to get a new STI or wait for a GTR for my track car:icon_twis

a little young so it's not too long....

 

96-00 1990 300ZX (no TT)

00-05 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport (college car, sold the 300zx, too much maintenance : (

05-07 06 Volvo S40 (no T5) sold the Jeep because of gas mileage and long Houston commute after graduation...big mistake...

07-present legacy 2.5i (no GT, a sad trend) traded the POS overpriced Volvo, got a good deal considering I traded after only 2 years...the Leggy is better in every way, even safety!

All Jeep, 7 years total..

 

'97 Grand Cherokee (30k miles, loved it but my dad's) -> '02 Wrangler (2k miles, brother's car)-> '96 Grand Cherokee (60k miles, my first, awesome)

 

Then Subaru, last 3 years..

 

'05 Impreza RS (20k miles, soo slow) -> '05 LGT (9k miles so far, very happy w/ purchase atm)
