I see that the AVO re-enforcement is available but does that tear need to be welded? Can anyone with this experience chime in?

The AVO kit is going to help, but something needs to be done with the crack. My suggestion would be to weld the subframe to the new AVO piece and use it a a re-enforcement backer piece.

+1 ^^

This is the route I would go. Not only does it add the additional support but it will help with the sway you have pictured also. Have the tear welded at the same time ;)

for the first picture, you will need to weld and then use the avo brackets. for the second pic, buy energy suspension rear sway bar bushings. they come with a new "c" brackets which are much stronger than the stock garbage and only about $30 a set IIRC

Thank you whitetiger, I was looking around and was wondering if it was just universal or not, I guess those will be on order soon. WPmarky was suggesting the same via facebook to me too.

Okay Planning on ordering these, Part Number: 9.5158 will that fit both my front and rear? My sway bars are both 22mm but I know the bracket shaping is different any experience here?

Yes, the 9.5158 will fit 22mm bars. You will have to trim the brackets for the front.

Your bar will bang around if a mount breaks.

I think the handling would be poor as well especially when hitting bumps and taking turns. I drove a Toyota Prado last year which had a broken endlink. The car was so scary to drive when I was hitting a bump or driving on uneven road. Felt like chassis was going one way and frame another.
