Can anyone with this experience chime in?
CapnJack
The AVO kit is going to help, but something needs to be done with the crack. My suggestion would be to weld the subframe to the new AVO piece and use it a a re-enforcement backer piece.

Not only does it add the additional support but it will help with the sway you have pictured also. Have the tear welded at the same time
whitetiger
for the first picture, you will need to weld and then use the avo brackets. for the second pic, buy energy suspension rear sway bar bushings. they come with a new "c" brackets which are much stronger than the stock garbage and only about $30 a set IIRC

Heedz
Thank you whitetiger, I was looking around and was wondering if it was just universal or not, I guess those will be on order soon. WPmarky was suggesting the same via facebook to me too.
mazdaslo
how did you discover the damage, visual inspection during maintenance, or was it terrible noises, or something amiss with the handling?

chutrain
I have the greaseable version and they work fine. I used the grease fitting once already, and a lot better than having to take the bracket off to grease the bushings.

You will have to trim the brackets for the front. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/energy-suspension-bushings-review-install-cusco-97981.html?t=97981&highlight=energy+suspension+sway+bar+bushings+front 2006 SWP 3.0R 5EAT VDC BBQ 2008 OBP 2.5i 4EAT BBQ [RIP]

xt2005bonbon
Your bar will bang around if a mount breaks. I think the handling would be poor as well especially when hitting bumps and taking turns. I drove a Toyota Prado last year which had a broken endlink. The car was so scary to drive when I was hitting a bump or driving on uneven road. Felt like chassis was going one way and frame another.
