AFBD5 Posted January 20, 2011 Share Posted January 20, 2011 I am stationed in Japan and have a 98 RS with the EJ20R and 5MT. I was wondering about clutches as it feels like mine is starting to give out. I am not familiar with Scoobies at all, I know Mustangs, Powerstrokes, and performance Nissans. Will any 2.0 turbo clutch work in this car ie: Exedy/ACT/ClutchMasters Stage 2 for a 02 WRX. I am asking cause the least expensive clutch kits I have been able to find over here start at around $900 and go up from there. And this is just for "Stage 1". Thanks for any and all help. GEE-OTTO Posted February 4, 2011 Share Posted February 4, 2011 The 98 legacy RS is a pull type clutch so you would need one for a 2005 legacy gt or OBXT or BXT. But I'm not sure about you flywheel.
