archer1.8
Thinking about ditching my V1 accessport and going OS. I am stage 2 now and have no plans on gong past stage 2. I like having the idea of being able to flash to different maps in case I need too. However, in a year of being stage 2 I never once touched my V1 accessport. I dont plant on having E85 so no need for switching maps like that. Just having to drive 3 hours to CT to have them unlock my map and flash say stock or something seems like it could be a pain. Maybe I am just getting cold feet IDK. Any downside of having an OS tune where you have to drive back to the tuner? I will be adding an EBCS and an STi pump before the tune btw
quick4dr
I was originaly opensource from EFI with my first stage 2 tune. With Chris's passing i purchased a Accessport because Lance Lucas of COBB was going to be doing my tune from EFI. (I was scheduled for retune the monday after his passing) Accessports to me have more widely based support and allow you easier remote tuning and map flashing. archer1.8
remote tuning? What if I was looking for a "set it, and forget it" tune? Or are you talking for instance if you added another mod they could send you the map.
