TurtleWaffle
Just got my new wheels put on after installing the CTS-V Brembos. Although still not finished (brake hard lines were rusted, going to run new lines), I'd like to get some opinions on my wheel fitment. This is my first time getting aftermarket wheels, so I'm no expert on fitment. I used Zenonk's fitment guide HERE. Still haven't taken it out of the driveway so I don't know how it drives, but I do like the aggressive look.. I'm just worried that there's too much offset. Haven't gotten around to installing the rears, going to wait until I bleed the brakes. Wheels are Enkei 18x8.5 TS9s with +45 offset. Tires are 245/35/18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport. At least the dog approves http://imgur.com/huBj89S.jpg http://imgur.com/ifArVE7.jpg http://imgur.com/zNGHqkY.jpg http://imgur.com/JutU1Kl.jpg http://imgur.com/Y9ZSQa9.jpg
amm203
Damn that brake setup looks great. If my pockets were deeper I'd be all over that. I have Enkei Raijins in 18x8.5 with identical offset and they don't seem to poke out of the fenders like yours do. I think it might have something to do with the fact I'm lowered. On the sedan with stock suspension the gap with 18s was a bit much for my tastes. For the wagon it might not matter as much. The centered front-on shot looks fine to me - the 8.5s give it a nice muscular stance. Are you on stock suspension?
MilesA
Good choice of tires with the Pilots. Personally would not have chosen such a wide tire and 35 profile, you don't have much cushion for potholes. Not a fan of the all-black look, but I know a lot of people are into it. Yea I was surprised by the amount of offset, I thought +45 would have had less poke. It is on stock suspension, but I'm planning on getting coils in the next few months. Not a fan of the all-black look, but I know a lot of people are into it. The profile is short so I'll definitely be avoiding potholes more in the future. I'm not a huge fan of having a contrasting wheel color but I was thinking about getting some dark bronze or even gunmetal wheels. In the end I went with black, I really like the all black look although I know it's not for everyone.

I actually had a black set of wheels at one time, but it was on a light-colored car. I think the contrast looks nice.
I3eXa
It hasn't move out of the driveway he said so the poke might change a bit once the suspension settles back in. Looks good though
JustCallMeNick
Cute dog and nice wheels/tires! Now it just needs to be lowered to eliminate the wheel gap.
LatentWagen
Needs a drop and some camber to make that width/tire size work. LW's spec. B / YT / IG
Rhitter
Agreed with Latent. Overall, I think it will look great once you get coils. My OBXT build
