outahere
Here we go again. Remember when Subaru switched to the white, USA made filter 2 or 3 years ago, the ones that leaked at the seam? This time, they will be stocking a blue, USA sourced filter, instead of the black, Japan sourced filter. The new number will be 15208AA12A. bluesuby
ive been using the M1 110 filters and they've been great. The Mobil 1 application book says M1 108. Is the 110 a longer version with the same base? Cost isn't much of an issue because Advance Auto and Auto Zone usually do a "package" deal, 5 quarts Mobil 1 and a filter for just under $30. Advance lets you choose any Mobil 1, even extended performance or high mileage.
apexi
I love a good oil filter comparison, whether it be a few pictures or a video. I came across this video over at bitog and thought others might be interested, good quality, good/accurate commentary. sw99
They claim that it has a silicon ADV but it appears to be nitril.
