Polish Harvest Festival in Yorba Linda

Hahaha, I had an interesting time.

I decided to go on Saturday morning (as I had plans Saturday evening and Sunday).

I dragged along a couple of friends and I think it was around 100 that day.

We get there in time for them to announce, "due to the heat the dancers will not be dancing until sunset."

Ten minutes later

"Due to the heat, the band will not be playing until sunset."

I grab a 5 pack of pierogis ($4, two meat, two potato & cheese, and one saurkraut & mushroom), a blood sausage on rye ($5) and a pączek (Polish donut). Everything was delicious.

Apparently there was a dining hall where you could actually sit in A/C and they offered a full "meal" vs fair style food, but I didn't notice it until after I stuffed my face.

I was also happy to learn that they served alcohol there and enjoyed a nice cold Polish beer whose name I can't pronounce/remember.

Overall it was fun, but would have been much better at sunset when there was a bit more "culture" going on.

There were indeed a few cute girls there, probably a lot more at night.

Polish is always an interesting language to hear too, seems like depending who is talking it'll sound russian or german, or something else entirely.
