Finally Finished Getting my legacy back on the road. Blew my turbo so i had some thinking and rebuilding to do. this is what i ended up with. LMK what ya think. :)

uhm no still working on the built motor and same with suspension. Didnt plan on the mods as soon as they happend. Blew the turbo and figure mine as well rebuild it the right way. but still stock motor and suspension. Hopefully springs and struts next and then start working my way thru the engine bay

Never heard of an SPT BOV, but I'm sure it's crap just like their intake. ;)

 

Seriously, OP, from all accounts, that intake sucks. Never heard of the BOV though but a full VTA BOV on a pull through MAF is not good.

 

BTW, what's up with the camera?? Is that phone from 8 years ago or something? 240P video?

haha it was my buddys galaxy s4. dont know how the quality turned out so shitty..... also any one have any suggestions on what should be next i kinda hit a wall and not sure where to go next. ewg ?

Agreed, and more so after racing a little turbo'd VW Golf (lowered with fat tyres) around twisty bends today slightly wet roads, on the straights I ate him, around corners bleh... he kept up easy. I'm stage 2 with stock suspension. Going to get lowering springs to go with my stock bilsteins next week and maybe a RSB if budget allows... then cut out some 4 wheel burnouts to get rid of these shitty Jap tyres and throw on some RE002's

Definitely like a Stage 3. But all this stage talk is not universally regulated by some governing body.

 

Sounds good and I bet it's got great power. Was it dyno tuned?? What were the numbers?

 

Depending on your mileage, how hard you beat on it (sounds like a lot,,,, I mean, that's what you're supposed to do to these motors right?!?), and your luck..... start saving for a full motor rebuild because if a piston ringland lets go hard, you could destroy the entire shortblock and the turbo. and maybe the heads. If you ever get a misfire or knock CEL... check it out quick...

 

But in the meantime, hammer on it :)

uhm no dyno , just a street tune , but from some research i found a guy with a legacy on youtube that with the same turbo and same mods different brands was making around 370 so i think I'm somewhere in that range but not sure. But yeah i just started pricing building a motor. Luckily my tuner also builds motors so he said he could build me something for cheap. Was talking to my mechanic and thinking about going all out. oversize valves and everything. I t ry not to beat on it to much ... but shit when it goes that good and my stomach feels like its getting its first kiss again..... how can i not .... :)
