I don't know. My '05 doesn't have that light.

 

Rule of thumb is let the engine idle a few minutes and slowly drive the car until it warms up. Also, stay out of boost until everything is at operating temps.

I have no control over drippie.

I've only had the car a week now, but I wait until the light is off. I probably always will. This is my first turbo car, so I am babying it. Not trying to thread jack, but is it necessary to let it idle before shut down to cool the turbo even after normal driving?
