ShadowImg
Has anyone ever dealt with shipping a "project" type car around? I'm looking at one I'd have to move from Virginia to Missouri, and I have no experience with this sort of thing. A friend warned me that many car shipping companys are incredibly shady. Was wondering what sort of experience people had with it. I'm debating just trying to drive it back, but 1000mi in a $1300 car seems.. Adventurous? pillboy
I think you're gonna end up spending $1,300 to ship a $1,300 car 1000 miles. It is still ugly.
rao
I shipped a non-running car 500 miles for $300. There are plenty of reliable shipping companies. Rob IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR YOU SHOULD NEVER DRIVE IT

ShadowImg
it is what it is Oh I'm not saying it's a bad rate or anything, just no good for what I was doing. $50/hr is cheaper than the majority of shops out there would charge.

nx2000
I used these guys - http://www.intercitylines.com/ The first time I used them I had major issues with the driver. The second time I used them everything went smoothly. I even got a call from the owner asking how my experience was. They used to advertise in Grassroots Motorsports magazine so I tried them as they seemed like "car people." I think you need to have a running car since they pack 3-4 cars into their enclosed car transport.
