Need Opinions on Wheels for my Brilliant Silver LGT

Recommended Posts

Hey all, sold my WRX to buy a 2005 LGT (brilliant silver)....I had a set of Gold 10 spoke wheels on the WRX that I took off before I sold, because I was planning on buying another WRX.

Anyways, after I bought the LGT, I have contemplated putting the Gold wheels on my current car (idk, something just makes me really like gold on any subaru and kinda their trademark), or should I continue to sell and get black wheels???

Any and all opinions are welcome, and please post if you have pics of each that would help too!!!!!

p.s. below is my current gold wheels, my car and blac wheels in question

Thanks for the input thus far! For some reason I love the look of gold wheels on a Subaru, but that is too almost a WRX and Blue or Black color only thing....I would really love to see some LGT pics with gold wheels if anyone has them!!!

I like the look of black wheels on hte silver due to contrast, but somethng there tells me not to "rice" it out so I still dont know...more opinions please :-)

I think gold goes well with a blue or black WRX. For some reason there aren't alot of us that do gold on the LGT. I like black (have them for my track wheels) on BSM. Bronze would look sweet . No offense but get rid of those Nexus tires, they are horrible and our cars deserve better.

I'm thinking about getting some Enkei EKM3s for my wagon. I plan to get silver. http://www.tirerack.com/images/wheels/enkei_performance/search/enkei_ekm3_bs_100.jpg

The black wheel thing is really played out and I never understood why you would spend the money on a nice set of wheels only to paint them in such a way that you can't see them. To me, they look like they were damaged when purchased and painted black to cover up the damage - which I believe is how the trend started.

I know no one is asking for silver, but here's what my car looks like with its winter setup (I'm lower now than in the pic)
