06specb264
I have a weird metallic sounding rattle at idle and decel. It goes away when accelerating and you hear the rattle when you shift. It's the worst when it's cold but it always happens. It seems like it's the cat but I'm not sure. It's not the heat shields, I've checked them. Is the best route to just change the downpipe? What do yall suggest?

mr.hicksta
Interesting. When I had a LWFW installed, the rattle during deceleration was horrible. Where does it sound like the rattle is coming from? If it's in shifter region you may want to check the shifter itself and the bushings.
06specb264
It sounds like a loose bolt underneath the car. I don't think it's in the shifter but I'll check it out.
mr.hicksta
I know you said you checked the heatshields, but make sure you a take a very close look at the DP one which is directly underneath the center console. I recall it being very thin so it could easily be the culprit. Hope you find out what's making all that racket!
