Longer Life H11 LED for Front Bumper

Recommended Posts

So I replaced the halogen's in my front bumper a few months back, imported some LED from China that were supposed to use Osram chips, fast forward to today and they are failing - I thought LED were supposed to be long lasting?

Can anyone recommend replacements that will last longer (keep in mind I am in NZ too).

Stick with a brand name from a company with a warranty and great customer support. Here in the US, a lot of us use....

Good stuff is pricey. Plan on spending $100 on a good set of H11 LED fog light bulbs. If you're getting stuff from China on Aliexpress, etc, chances are that you're not paying that kind of money, and you're not getting warranty and support. Your bulbs may very well have Osram chips, but the circuitry behind them is likely what is failing.

^+1 Don't waste your money on cheap LED lights. I had a position light go out early spring, so I just grabbed some cheap, $7.99 USD, 5 led bulbs from Walmart which looked good at first but they lasted a whole 2 months before they were useless. They started to flicker after about a week and went out a few times because of the crappy contacts. I ended up ordering some Phillips Xtreme Vision 360 led bulbs for $20 USD and they work perfectly.
