subielova88
Hey I'm looking for a nice roof rack setup for my 05 gt sedan, I want to fit like 3-4 snowboards on it. Anybody know where I can get a decent setup for a good price?? I'm thinking new not used. Any info appreciated, thanks
PrimeRib
I've purchased from http://www.carracksdirect.com. Very happy.
Bdubs
Use the automated fit guides from Yakima or Thule. Choose what rack setup you'd like on your car. Take down all the part numbers it gives you on the list and enter them into amazon.com. You can find some seriously cheap rack parts on there. They may not all come from the same place, but you can save $200 to $300 just doing it that way. And everything is new, so you will have all the instructions and nothing will be missing as far as parts. If you want to compare prices, just look at the MSRP on the website and check out what you are paying for them elsewhere.

wagondreamin
Use the thule fit guide, to find out what you need. Then hit up your local bicycle shop.
joedirtae09
use the fit guides from yakima or thule, find out what parts you need, then search on craigslist... a brand new rack setup is a waste of money, i spent over $500 on mine brand new and ended up selling it for $250. blaze741
I bought my rack brand new complete for 240 shipped through a member on here who bought it and sold his car. You will find them pretty cheap second hand or on craigslist. =] Ended up selling my complete rack for way more a year later. I'm resorting to folding my seats down for my skis this year. The rack was just a money pit eating my MPGs all year round.
PrincessPearl
Anyone know if the Subaru OEM snowboard attachment whistles like the Thule one? On my old car the Thule rack made sooo much noise.
