Wheel Spacer Install Questions

I'm looking at the H&R's now if anything, unless someone can vouch for the Ichiba ones.

Would it be possible to use open-ended lug nuts instead of pressing on the extended lug nuts since it is only 5mm or is that unsafe?

It's just difficult to justify the cost of pressing on the extended lug bolts for such a small difference.

It seems as if I have to press in the lug bolts no matter what? What would be the typical price for something like this? I got quoted $180 to press in lug bolts for all 4 corners and for the install of the wheel spacers (which is obviously easy except for the pressing). Thanks for the help Mike.

This is how they look with 20mm longer hub bolts.

If you only use 5mm spacers, go for 10mm longer stud bolts.

If you use thicker than 10mm spacers, go for 20mm longer one.

Hope this will help you.

Spacers are never a good option IMO. You are better off finding rims with the offset that clears whatever you are trying to clear.

FX35B4 --- Those are not Hubcentric spacers. You're looking for trouble down the line.
