4th gen - rear subframe locking bolts

so this is embarrassing.

when i got this car, i went down the road of getting bits together to replicate what i did with my bugeye WRX.

today, i tried to install the rear subframe locking bolts. i even went so far as to borrow a M12 x 1.25 tap so i can clear out the threads first to make installation easier.

i get my wife and 3-month old daughter to take the dog for a walk together with my mum who's visiting. you know, so my manly task of modding my car isn't tainted by estrogen.

i crack open an IPA and take a long pull. i puff my chest out and take a long breath of the air from the engine bay. yeah. this is now time for something manly!

i get the car jacked up and crawl under there to find the hole for the locking bolts.

but then WHAM! no hole! i grab a flashlight and look more. still no luck.

so......... can anyone tell me if i'd really screwed the pooch.

IS THERE a hole for the rear subframe locking bolt?

Are you talking about the two long ass bolts that are used to hold the rear crossmember into the body? (the ones the sway bar bracket mounts to?) im not really surelymente what you're talking about...
