Mega Users seabass07 Posted September 24, 2010 Mega Users Share Posted September 24, 2010 Should I be concerned about my AFR dropping below 11.2 from 4500 to 6000 rpm? My boost peaks at 13.5 psi and everything is stock. I know the 11.2 is the limit for what the O2 sensor can read, but if it is below that at 4500 rpm, then it is probably worse at 6000. I'm not getting any knocking other than letting up on the throttle abruptly during cruising (less than 2k rpm and less than .7 load). Injector duty peaks at 75%, so that shouldn't be a problem. Am I just being paranoid? or is the AFR just off from back pressure in the up pipe?
John M
Any time you're in boost, your stock o2 is wrong. I don't know if there's a rule of thumb for how wrong it is but the only way to know for sure is a wideband.
Th3Franz
The stock map is extremely rich. Your AFR's are actually in the 10's, and it's nothing to be worried about. -Franz The end of a Legacy http://www.youtube.com/th3franz
