gr4v3r
My car has these white marks all over the drivers side and I can't tell what they are. They can only be seen in bright sunlight, heres a pic. http://i.imgur.com/iHGHv.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Pkn3M.jpg Any idea what this is? So i just realized that you can feel the markings if you rub your nail over them. If I can feel them do you think that means I may be able to buff them out? Underdog
"Crows feet". It is a flaw in the paint, below the clearcoat, and AFAIK it is caused by improper cure time or over-coverage. The Crimson Dynamo

Subastew
I'm having this exact same issue. It started just on my back fender, but now it's everywhere except the roof and trunk lid. I think we're hosed until we get a full strip and repaint. I take great care of the paint, garaged year round, wash and wax, etc. So bummed. BAspecB
So i just realized that you can feel the markings if you rub your nail over them. If I can feel them do you think that means I may be able to buff them out? Nope. It called crows feet like someone mentioned above. They are physically cracks in the finish. The panels will need to be stripped and repainted unfortunately.
