MatsuDano Posted May 21, 2012 Share Posted May 21, 2012 Well, that's your problem. The SPT is 2.5" at the flange which mates to the DP. You need to get the 2.5" to 3" adapter, and get a new donut gasket as well. For future reference, the SPT is 2.5" at that point, but buffs out to 3" just a few inches further down. bmx045 Posted May 21, 2012 Share Posted May 21, 2012 had the same problem. you'll need the adapter. i tried doubling up the flat gaskets, rtv, etc, kept leaking from the top. got the grimmspeed adapter with new donut gasket and flat gasket and all is well. there's an angle conflict between the two pipes so the donut is pretty much required.
