kaitanium
Does anyone know if any sti branded ones fit without cutting anything? I assume my '09 outback is the same as the legacy. The "C8110FG010" version on ebay doesnt seem to fit.
05sleeper
I think the metal ones with the red dots that subaru offers fit with no modifications but I like the newer style subaru offers so might just end up cutting mine

kaitanium
oh nice those will never wear out. confirmed that they work on our cars without cutting or doing anything non reversable to the stock setup? i never dealt with pedals so have no idea yet how they are taken apart or replaced
scoobyscoodle
You will need to drill holes in your pedals to mount them, but if you want to reverse it you just put the factory rubber pedal covers back on and you can't see the holes. grovlet
SRP Install Instructions But it's as already noted - so reversible if ever desired - but can't see why that would ever be the case.
05sleeper
whats the newer style one? These are the newer style that subaru offers in the accessory booklet newer cars. https://www.amazon.com/Genuine-Subaru-C8110FG010-Metal-Pedal/dp/B00893FM94 I'm pretty sure the accelerator pedal one requires modification. I haven't tried it yet though.
kaitanium
hmm yea those are the sti pedals im looking at but it looks like SRP stuff wont wear out. No rubber to wear out over time. Maybe ill look into SRP then. What pattern do people normally get for the SRP?

wesleyCrowbar
Which model of the SRP pedals are you getting? I see the legacy ones are for 95+, but that's a huge range. Are the Impreza/WRX pedals a better choice?

Sgt.Gator
Don't use the STI pedal covers. I had one come unscrewed during a race! And they are not grippy. I've used the Sparco Race pedals on three cars. I love them. $40 at Jegs. $37 on Amazon. Sparco 03779AN Race Silver Pedal Set. https://www.amazon.com/Sparco-03779AN-Race-Silver-Pedal/dp/B001SIFPNK Sparco makes some nicer versions too. http://www.sparcousa.com/catalog/vehicle/pedals Nothing like a race track to find the weak points in man and machine. Rhitter
Installed. I think these are mostly bling. Don't notice a big difference in grip / feel. But I like the way they look. I mounted the accelerator pedal in the wrong place and it's slightly too close for how I brake. http://i.imgur.com/ZF1VEHr.jpg http://i.imgur.com/EIKD5Pb.jpg My OBXT build
