Racing stripe? Rear window louvers?

Recommended Posts

I don't think about them on any car really. I think red ones do make you go faster though, would have to ask swagon

What do you think would look good on a rally car?

Honestly:

Things that will give your car more of a rally look:

- Mudflaps

- Auxiliary lights

- Bedliner coating on bumpers / lower body panels

- Smaller wheels with fatter, knobblier tires

- Suspension lift

Things that will give your car more of a "I-wish-I'd-bought-a-Mustang" look:

- Racing stripes

- Rear window louvres

None of that will make your car look like a rally car. What makes your car look like a rally car, is you driving it in Rally-X events. And you don't need anything you've listed in order to do that.

Is all your maintenance up to date? No? Then don't buy junk for it.

If you want to make your car look better, learn to detail, and get it clean and keep it super clean. When I was in high school, I was not rich and went to a rich kids school. I had some fairly sketchy cars but you could EAT off of that paint. Its cheaper in the end, and if you get good, people will pay you to do it.

as of right now there is only 1 major problem with it.

but everything else, such as the in and exterior is well maintained.

its very hard to keep it clean where i live, i wash it about once every week.

Man, if we had rally events where i stayed, i would be competing. Sadly, all they have here is drag racing and drifting.

Well yes, obviously, but we all know what he means by the "rally look."
