Brett Posted April 2, 2013 Share Posted April 2, 2013 so i just went in for my 90k mile check up and as usual i knew what to expect. i was a little surprised for a change. according to their inspection, i need transmission/diff oil that i just replaced last week. my drive belts and timing chain should be replaced (i still have time fo dat) and my cam seals are leaking? sounds like bs, but someone there would've fell for it. aside from the outrageous prices. for example, an alignment would cost $150!! so could you imagine the other prices? i even got a complimentary car wash... a hose down. thank you jones for taking the time out of my day to give me more reasons to never come back to you Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

xero287 Posted April 3, 2013 Share Posted April 3, 2013 Yeah, I wouldn't do CAM seals if you haven't done them before. The bolts were tightened by gorillas and they are tightened and loosened via a hex bolt. i.e. everything will strip or jump and you're screwed 3k.
