bigblue Posted September 24, 2013 Share Posted September 24, 2013 Looking to buy some fogs for my 2.5i but was wondering if they will plug n play, I do not have fogs just black oem covers so if it did plug and play would they be controlled by the headlight knob or do I need to install a switch, I noticed when I was under the car there is plugs where the fogs should be but not sure if that what it'd be for Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Bdubs Posted September 24, 2013 Share Posted September 24, 2013 Im not sure if those are Subaru oem foglights, but with the kit from subaru you get a new stalk that has the fog switch on it as well. They will also plug into the harnesses you see behind the bumper. Aftermarket fogs probably wont work with those connectors, plus you will have to wire in a switch. Max Capacity Posted September 24, 2013 Share Posted September 24, 2013 IMO not worth the effort of installing the correct stalk in the steering colume. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs.
