Not yet as my car was filthy when I bought them. It was messy for about a week, so I didn't want to waste money on a car wash. Took them off after 2 days and they're on the rack in the garage until April. TRUST ME, they look KILLER! Edited by SubieN8

Do you have any shots of the full car with the wheels? I've got the same color and was looking at either those or the stock WRX 10-spokes.

IMHO, the WRX 5 split-spoke wheels look much better than those 10 spokes that you're talking about. I think another point to consider is that the 5 spokes are 18" vs. The 17" on the ones you're mentioning and they're a half inch wider. I think 18" fits this car better and the wider tire will perform better.

After having my 18x8.5 STI rims on for 3 months, the only thing that I'm disappointed about is that I didn't invest the $ in a nice set of 19's instead.

There's still a big sidewall with 18" rims on the Legacy and certainly could go to 19" and a 40 profile tyre without killing the ride.

Though there are almost zero options for an OEM rim in 19" as the largest WRX/STI rim is currently 18".

Have a look at this post - http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=5303593&postcount=35. I think the fitment and size is perfect.

I feel ya. I originally looked for 19's but only found a couple that would work for me. Both were overpriced and with our roads, it would have been too harsh of a ride.

dpc166 - I like your yellow film on your fogs. I wouldn't mind replacing my bulbs or applying the film, but unsure how to access the bulbs. I assume it's uncomplicated, but hasn't been warm enough for me to try.

Yes, 19 is the way to go. The Legacy is a big car and needs bigger wheels that fit right. Braelin wheels are good quality/reputation and are hubcentric (56.1).

These are perfect for our rides. 19 X 8.5, bore 56.1. (Perfect fit, no rings).

Thanks. I went the film route 1) to protect the lenses from chips and 2) the yellow looks nice even with the lights off! $17 from headlight armor is a good investment.

These wheels are also manufactured in 18x8 ET35, however from the fitment in the photos I suspect these have the ET45 offset.

^ Not bad, but not my fav. Is that a trailer hitch?

Yes that would be a trailer hitch - unfortunately just out of shot and I don't have any others showing the hitch either as I was focussed on taking photos of the wheels.

The dealer I bought my car from had told me about this car as they had put the wheels on pre-delivery, however this is the first time I had spotted it.

Agree with you regarding wheels. If you're going to change wheels, you either need to put OEM ones on (WRX/STI/etc) or go with decent rims (Enkei/Vossen/Rays/Work/Volk/OZ/etc). Otherwise you're probably better off keeping the stock rims.

But rims are a personal thing and what one person likes another may be indifferent about. I do like seeing different rims on the Legacy and hopefully this thread gives people an idea on what works and what doesn't for them so they can get it "right" first time :)

The tyres are Dunlops. :)

Very unusual to see a Liberty with different wheels.

Must say I like the car's colour! :)

Ah yes of course you're right!

Yes I had to do a double-take. I think this car also has the JDM grille but didn't go looking as it was parked up against a wall and was already thinking it looked a bit strange taking photos in the car park.

It's unusual enough to see another Gen 6 Liberty and even more to see one with aftermarket wheels. I haven't seen any others with wheels so I had to take some photos :)

And the guy obviously has a good choice in colour...;)
