Made about 20 more wheel torque.

The motor has been running strong, and seems to take everything I've thrown at it.

just spent the last two hours combing this thread. I know you've heard it more then enough. But you my friend are a god to be able to have that much patience for this build. Beautiful man. I really like the way your engine bay came together. Well worth it good sir. Thanks for the good read and for something to do at work haha :)

man what a crazy ride this subie has been on. can't believe how much bs u went through but mad props for sticking with it!! would have cried if i had to deal with half of this during my build. was kinda the reason i just got the cosworth shorblock. as i had seen plenty of people ending up paying more for various reasons with there build.

Weather is getting better here and I had a chance to finally take it out for a short drive. I forgot how fast this thing is, yet it's so comfortable to just cruise around.

I am currently talking with Driveshaft Shop on getting rear specB axles made, along with front LGT axles.

And since I'm overpowering my viscous center diff, and it cannot be swapped out with an STI unit, I will be swapping my 6mt for an STI DCCD 6mt with LGT 5th and 6th.

I also have a special motor in the works, but that will most likely wont come until next season, since I don't want my car to be down this year. Details to come after it's built ;)

I haven't done much during the winter, other than a lithium battery that weighs in just under 3lbs, and I replaced my nav unit with an Android tablet.

^Why will the sti center diff not fit in the specb 6mt?

Likely because DCCD in STI, VLSD in Spec B and the STI case is designed for the DCCD. The Subaru OEM 4KG, 8KG, 12KG and 20KG Non-DCCD center diffs (particularly the 8, and more-likely, 12KG) that will meet your needs. Cusco and ATS also make 2-way plated diffs that should bolt up to your Spec Bizzle Box.

I was under the impression that it would bolt right in mechanically, and that these were only electrical/wiring differences. Thanks for the info!

I'm nowhere close to exceeding the capacity of my vlsd, so I'm not too concerned at the moment, but like to know my options. I'm currently just planning on swapping in the sti helical front lsd once my clutch starts slipping badly.

Did some more tuning over the weekend.

Also removed my hybrid boost control setup and replaced my Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator with one from Manga Fuel.

Made some significant gains, and also learned of a slight wastegate issue that the hybrid boost control setup was hiding. Due to that, My boost is currently maxed at 28psi at 100% wgdc.

Overlay with my previous tune:

I will also be having custom specB rear axles made. I'm currently in the process of that and should see something newly manufactured soon.

HOA 3-port EBCS.

I did a 1st thru 4th log with launch control and noticed my WGDC didn't go higher than 90%.

The car honestly feels better (and faster) than it has before, after being retuned (by a different tuner). It's actually making me reconsider some rebuild plans I have in mind this winter.

I have attached a log of my run, just to give an idea of how fast I get through 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gears from a stand still.
