Anyone knows whether the 98-01 RS 16" wheels will fit on the LGT. They are suppose to clear the Subaru 4-pots that the WRX 16" do not. See this thread: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=833000. They even say that the Forester 16" steelies will clear the Subaru 4-pots. I have no clue how the LGT brakes compare to the Subaru 4-pots as far as clearance. Anyone ever try RS 16" or Forester 16" steelies on the LGT? apexjapan2 Posted August 28, 2005 Share Posted August 28, 2005 Sube 4 pots are clamping 294mm discs... They j-u-s-t clear SOME 16" wheels, but by no means all. Your LGT has 310mm discs (give or take). It would be nice to fit 16s on an LGT, but I don't think anyone REALLY wants std WRX brakes on the Legacy GT...
