KNS Brakes

Drift Motion

Recommended Posts

I just want to say, I ordered my brake lines from them.

VERY good pricing compared to other vendors!

Helped me out with super fast 2 day shipping

Shipped Wednesday from NC, arrived in Cali on Friday.

Very awesome! Definitely recommended!

That typically happens when an inferior tool is used. When a crappy 10mm flare nut wrench is used it will strip. Even a good wrench may strip if there is any play at all. It should be a very tight fit and when applying pressure you have to feel when the wrench is moving but the nut isn't. Usually if it gives way quickly it's loose and you're good. If it slowly turns you're stripping it and time to back off.

Problem with vise grips is.... good luck next time.

I haven't tried it but you could also try to square it off again with a Dremel or similar and use a 3/8 wrench on it (slightly smaller than a 10mm).

Also a huge KNS Brakes fan. Great prices, good selection, and fantastic customer service.

Yeah I know the nuts are toast from using the vise grips, I'm just hoping I'll never have to take them off again. Otherwise, I'll have to make new fittings with new nuts.

My wife's balls are delicious.
