Looking at an '09 3.0R. Will the 16" '05 WRX wheels I have fit for snow tire use?

I've got a set of bronze 16" 2005 WRX wheels that I would like to put snow tires on, but will 16" clear the brakes on the 3.0R? I know they won't clear the brakes on my '07 spec.B, but they will cover the brakes on my brother's '08 2.5i.

 

Any help is appreciated....

Same brakes are on all 05-09 Outbacks so they should fit your 3.0R.

Which 3.0R - Legacy or Outback?

Legacy 3.0R has the same brakes as the LGT, so they won't fit.

They wont fit, minimum is 17".
