VecGtt
I have a cracked side view mirror on my 2011 Legacy 2.5i that needs to be replaced. The mirror is folding and motorized - not heated. I got a replacement mirror from the Subaru parts store online. The mirror is embedded in a plastic housing that appears to have four attachment tabs in the back. I am gathering that to remove the cracked mirror, I need a flat head screwdriver to pry out the old plastic housing that contains the cracked mirror. Then I just snap the new housing in? Also do I need to turn off any electronics on the car breaker box before doing this? Thanks!
Ellesedil
You have motorized folding mirrors in New England? You're probably the only one who does. Motorized mirrors aren't available in the USDM models.
