WellsMcKenzie
The car has 104,000 miles on it and has a hood from a turbo legacy. It sounds like it has not had the headgaskets, timing belt, or water pump replaced. He is selling it for $8400, and I want to get closer to the KBB price, towards $7,000. Am I going too low? I am going to look at the car tomorrow, and if I like it I want a mechanic to check it out. Seems like these cars are not being sold on craigslist for anywhere near KBB price. Are people just putting in a good buffer for when pricing gets brought up? Craigslist Link
hoffmajr19
Well if the timing belt, head gasket, etc. has not been done then I think he is asking too much. I think $7,000 is a lot more realistic because you will probably pay close to the difference in maintenance. I would personally request a car fax and look for any accident reports. Maybe he just wanted his car to look like a lgt, but its also possible he was in an accident and replaced it with a gt hood. Anyways, its a great looking wagon!
