Moving on up

Hey PNW folks, I'm trading 20 days of rain per year in NM for 20 days of sunshine in Portland/Hillsboro this summer. Will miss the NM.AWD peeps and my two favorite Subaru specialists ( Cameron Dawes of camtuning fame and Harry Strange of Boost Inc ( Vader WRX ).

Sounds like registration is not too costly or difficult. My LGT does have a rebuilt title but should not stop anything. I will miss pumping my own gas tho LOL.

Hope to get engaged in the local scene. See there is a meet in August, so long as I'm not still moving or traveling with work will try to make it!

There's also some more "generic" meet ups. Portland has a Cars and Coffee group that meets every Saturday morning at the World of Speed museum year-round rain or shine. COBB Surgeline also has some meetups, although I've yet to go any of those. I seem to recall hearing about a regular-ish meetup somewhere on SW 185th in Hillsboro just off of 26, but I don't know much about it. There's also a "Red Door Meet" somewhere in Portland at some point during the weekend, but I hear a good amount of the cars are riced-out. Again, don't know too much about it.

There might be some other shop-specific meet-ups from time to time. There are lot of Subaru part manufacturers and tuners out here.
