frkkevin
how much is not a lot of money? depending on how loud your substage is i'd bridge that amp and run 100x2 up front and power the rearfill with just the headunit 512whp/465ftlb 2005 5EAT Legacy (Build Log) Videos - -

dandragonrage
Memphis speakers aren't that good. Look elsewhere. I don't have a Legacy so I don't know what kind of depth you have available, but if you can fit them, look into Pioneer Premier. Good speakers for the price. Personally, I use Rainbow. frkkevin
if you want some components that will keep up.. look into CDT audio mid-level line or a pair of jbl gti mkiis 512whp/465ftlb 2005 5EAT Legacy (Build Log) Videos - -

frkkevin
look on the net and you can get those for half that almost.. they are just entry level i'd suggest you this cdt set.. http://cgi.ebay.com/CDT-AUDIO-EF-61FG-TW25-PRO-EuroFrame-6-5-Component-Set_W0QQitemZ110363695246QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCar_Speakers?hash=item110363695246&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1234|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A0|293%3A1|294%3A50 or if you want something quite a bit better.. which is a bit more.. you would need spacers for the mids which you can make.. http://cgi.ebay.com/CDT-AUDIO-HD-62-NEW-6-5-2-WAY-HD-COMPONENT-SYSTEM-HD62_W0QQitemZ110359278200QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCar_Speakers?hash=item110359278200&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1234|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50 512whp/465ftlb 2005 5EAT Legacy (Build Log) Videos - -

I'd still recommend the HD line.. it is a night and day difference. Don't forget to buy a pack of sound deadener for the doors.. that will also drastically improve the sound of the new drivers 512whp/465ftlb 2005 5EAT Legacy (Build Log) Videos - -
socallegacy
thats good to now that polk wear out fast. where do you get sound deadener. and thanks for the help. the only problem with the HD line is my amp wont give the power the need. the max my amp will put out is 100x2 but i would like to run all 4 ch to all the speakers
frkkevin
Bridge the amp for the front for 100x2 rms and run the rears off your headunit.. they are only for rearfill.. i have mine disconnected all together.. the only purpose of them is for passengers in the back and it would not likely be loud enough even on 50rms with subs directly behind them 100rms on the HD set is plenty.. if you want to upgrade later you could matter of fact here is a very good deal on some eD amps.. i ran these before and they were great nine.2x .. 200rmsx2 @ 4 ohm http://www.edesignaudio.com/product_info.php?cPath=1_22&products_id=47 512whp/465ftlb 2005 5EAT Legacy (Build Log) Videos - -
socallegacy
a new amp is not in my game plain right now made in a year.
frkkevin
if you plan on upgrading amps in a year you might as well get the components you want now rather than buying a set now then getting another set and amp in a year.. would be less costly in the long run 512whp/465ftlb 2005 5EAT Legacy (Build Log) Videos - -
ean611
Two words: Sound Deadener. The legacy door is the worst I have ever worked on acoustically. (I've done my old 07 and my 08). You need a lot of deadener to make the doors work well. I used edead, because it was cheap.
dandragonrage
It's also crap, and comes from a very sketchy company that I would NEVER buy from.
str8dwn
It's also crap Gotta say I second this. After 7 layers of the eDead v2 in the bottom half of the doors, 3 layers elsewhere and another 3 on the inside of the plastic panel, I still have rattles and excessive vibration. It's super thin and doesn't stick very well. Gladly send you an entire roll I plan to throw out. I plan to re-do my doors with Cascade or Dynamat Xtreme.
