Just curious.... 2006 Subaru Legacy GT - Stage 2 - $18500 Reply to: sale-449811268@craigslist.org Date: 2007-10-15, 2:45PM EDT 2006 Legacy GT Limited, Obsidian Black Pearl with Black leather, Cold Weather Package (heated seats, mirrors, and wiper defroster). It also has a 6 CD changer in dash, premium stock sound system (sans sub woofer), dual zone climate control, fog lights, cruise control, power front seats, power windows and locks, Subaru alarm system. Handling: 17x7.5" SSR GT-7 wheels with 225/55/17 all season Avon tires Ion Sport Springs Whiteline 22mm Rear Anti-Sway Bar Power: Gutted stock up-pipe from a '04 WRX Gutted stock LGT down-pipe Custom Catback Exhaust by Lou's Custom Exhaust in Reading. 2.5" from the mid-pipe cat to a custom Y pipe, 2.25 inch to the mufflers and 4" beveled tips (Note, this gives the car a much deeper and noticeable exhaust note) AVO Panel Filter Intake Silencer Delete 1.0 Cobb Accessport with a StgII etune base map by TDC tuning and a realtime map for the AVO Panel Filter Misc: Aluminum WRX Pedals All weather floor mats Aux-in adapter (allows for iPod/sat radio/digital music player hookup) This car was tuned by TDC tuning in New Hampshire and put down 244 horsepower and 286 ft/lb of torque at the wheels. For comparison, a stock WRX STi puts down about 240 horsepower and lb/ft of torque at the wheels. I get many questions relating to the long term durability and reliability of the car due to the modifications. The Stage 2 power upgrade is a relatively minor, proven, and reliable way to get more power out of the engine by only modifying the exhaust. The transmission, clutch, and brakes are all stock and are in excellent condition. Each component is more than capable of holding the power that this car makes. The tune is conservative so as not to cause any premature wear on the engine. I want to stress that I baby this car. I didn't know I was going to be selling it so soon so I took excellent care of it so as to make sure it lasts a long time. The Good: The car is in excellent shape with about 47,500 miles. The higher mileage is due to a long commute (1 hour each way) to my former job. It was just in for its 45k service at Wakefield Subaru and everything was in great shape. I take excellent care of my cars. Mobile 1 synthetic oil every 3-5k (no consumption). All scheduled maintenance performed by dealers on time. Most other oil changes done by myself. The so-so: There is a 2 inch scratch on the hood. It happened while I was traveling on 495 . A rock or piece of highway hit the hood and created a scratch and shallow dent. The body shop I took it to said they would not need to blend the paint in to the surrounding fenders as it was just far over and up enough on the hood making it a relatively easy repair. Also, one of the heatshields on the bottom of the car is missing a pop-it screw on one side causing a minor rattle at times. I haven't had the time or facilities to fix it and was going to have it taken care of the next time the car is in to the dealer. Also, the rear tires have worn a bit unevenly on the inside, I was going to replace them before the first snowfall. Average the Good Kelly Blue Book value and Retail NADA value you get about $20,000. Because the rear tires should be replaced at some point, the scratch, and I I want a quick sale I am offering it for $1,750 less. Price: $18,250 O.B.O.
