im in u
you need to search... already got my eye on CAI stage 3 turbo Full stainless exhaust system Dual bottle NX Bigger intercooler Raceing Suspension Polyurethane bushings Programmer And high performance gears I wanna just get it all in 1 big buy... Does'nt seem alot of people do alot to the motor's on here im looking to build a drag/street car out of my legacy
Ryandigi
go tho the link that was posted earlier.... http://legacygt.com/forums/showthrea...-gt-19037.html Quite a bit of people here mod...more like the norm that people have at least an OTS (off the shelf tune) on their lgt due to the crappy subaru tune hesitation issues. Right away best bang for the buck for you would be gut your up-pipe and down-pipe of their cats and get a used Access Port Version 1 for under 300 bucks. If you want to do it all (only concerning power...not suspension) in one swoop then do this: buy desired turbo upgrade clutch full turbo back exhaust kstech or similar intake RacerX fmic Upgrade Fuel Pump 740cc or bigger Fuel Injectors Professional tune from reputable tuner. The cost of all of this will depend on buying new vs. used on our classifieds. Suspension (my personal preference of order): bigger sways springs (rallitek are great for price) new shocks (or just forgot springs and shocks and grab some coil overs) wider wheels and better tires stiffer bushings stiffer tranny mount strut braces front and rear I am sure I have forgotten things, but that is a good start...others feel free to chime in. What does your buddies truck trap the 1/4 in? a 14.9 sounds like he is 92-94mph in that not so aerodynamic truck.

LuckyBob
Oh, and skip the polyurethane bushings and go straight for quartz. Quite a bit higher on the Mohs hardness scale. Well worth the price.

But I'll give it up to his buddy, He has an 05 ram but it is 2x4 and he busts out a constant 11.2 in the 1/4. but it is turbocharged and on the bottle. m sprank
Did no one read the original post. He has an 5EAT. You dont need a clutch, so that right there shows how little you know. Adding NX to that tranny is asking for a grenade to blow. If you want to drag race, sell your car. Buy a car with a 6MT. Or at least a 5MT. The auto tranny is glass. Now, do a lot of searching and reading. LOL.

My wife has to drive the car and she cant drive a stick shift, that was the compramise we came to, so if she needs the car she can drive it, but had to be auto
m sprank
IPT. $5k for an upgraded tranny. I had the IPT valve body mod ($1200), tranny cooler ($75) and full driveline bushings ($?). Boom while tuning at around 300whp.

obk25xt
Buy the wife an auto car?! If you can afford a stage 5 turbo and a buncha clutches for your auto then a car for the wife should be easy enough to attain. Then you could sell your car and buy one that someone else has already modded and you'd most likely be money/time/headache/power ahead........
