My wife's 03 WRX has had paint problems, and now on my 08 Legacy, the paint is just as bad... http://i46.tinypic.com/34nscok.jpg Has anyone else had this happen? Bdubs Posted June 11, 2010 Share Posted June 11, 2010 It looks like a similar problem I have had before with the front fenders on my 91. A large force put onto the bumper causes the mounts on the metal above to stress. Eventually it causes the paint to crack. That will rust through within a year or so, I'd certainly try to get it fixed. You could have SOA take a look at it, but I really don't think they will claim that as a defect in the paint.
