Ok, I'm not going to arrange dates like a meet or anything. We are going to keep this casual.

 

I work at Eaton Corp at Colorado and Edenhurst next to the LA river and the Colorado Blvd exit off the 5fwy.

 

I leave to take lunch at 11:30-12 unless something comes up. I can do later...I'm flexible with some notice.

 

I figure that I always leave for lunch anyway so why not occasionally enjoy it with some LGTer's. So if you ever find yourself in the Glendale area at lunchtime then hit me up via PM and we'll exchange #'s.

 

After that and going forward, just call or text when you are in the area again, and hungry, and I'll join ya.

Thats the Zankou Chicken by the 5 not the Zonkou Chicken by the 2 in case anyone was wondering. I should arrive between 1130 and 1150. I have a meeting first but I doubt it will make me late. I can stay as long as I want - on personal schedule after lunch.

My Durango is in the shop and the wife needed a car in the field today but was flexable enough to get me the car for our mini meet with a lot of extra effort and mileage. No appologies or explainations needed/wanted. No blame, fingerpointing or hurt feelings. I inconvienced the wife while she was working for entertainment - something she would never do to me.

 

As I was pulling up to the lunch-meet a few minutes early I got a call from Drew that he had a meeting and he couldnt make it on time. I thought Id wait around and see if Jay or anyone else would be around. After waiting for half an hour in the parking lot, I called the wife to see how busy she was at work. Said she would pencil lunch with me in so I spooled out.

 

I am NOT mad, I am explaining my new policy:

Post where you are having lunch and what time every day, on the day, and I'll show up one day when I am in the area for a bite.

I met Jay just a few minutes after 1pm.

 

Zenkou Chicken is ok but the parking there stinks. I think I drove all over looking for a place to park and must have wasted 10 min doing so.

 

Anyone know of goood Chinese in the downtown Glendale area?

I dont (edit: know of any good Chinese in Glendale) but if you are going to one definately post up the time and place and maybe I can make it. One thing I love better than LGT is Chinese food. YUM!

 

edit2: particularly if you can find some DIM SUM. Also thrilled to eat Thai, Japanese, Indian or anything else that I dont often prepare at home.

I know some good chinese food place my house. Aside from that my mom knows a good chinese place in glendale i'll get around to asking her when she home tomorrow from vegas

I got no problem with that, I used to do that too. Some people got butthurt over it though.

 

I would go but traffic in that area is a pain around lunchtime.
