I will get the pro clip when I have the time ot order it online. I still have to order an FM modulator and the metra antenna adapters anyway. ntadime Posted January 30, 2006 Share Posted January 30, 2006 I tried that location and had a lot of drop outs. I have the antenna for my Roady 2 on the trunk lid behind the spoiler. Cable goes over the inner lip, under the truck lid interior cover, down the hinge, in thru the pass thru , behind the top of the rear seats(tucked in so it can't be seen), along the edge of the carpet tucked under the side molding, under the dash and there it is. The SkyFi is too large to fit in the cubby with the docking cradle and all. The only one that will fit with little/no modification is Terk XM Commander. The Roady2 is close but no cigar. I did it with my Audiovox Xpress, but lost the cubby door. XM is pretty heavily reliant on a line of sight to the sky. Putting it inside of a metal box isn't going to help the signal much. The Dude - Two inches and counting...
