jarmerson
I have a squeak that I've narrowed down to one of the pulleys. I recently changed the belts which solved one of the noises but now there is the other. I notice it when the car starts cold, but some days it will persist even after 20+ minutes of driving. Can I oil the pulleys with something to resolve? I also have a 98 Legacy Outback and I'm wondering what mechanical parts would be useful as a backup. My 95 Legacy has 77k and I do a lot of very short commutes and we have all variations of weather. In these conditions, what would be wise to part out and hold on to in the event of a mechanical failure in the future?
