Oh so my upcoming work is new tmic, vf46, Perrin front dp, gutted back dp, and cbe. Hopefully with all this I can be close to 300 awhp that's my goal til I can save for a vf52 and all the support to go higher but I'm 27 and a father of 2 so I think 300 will satisfy me.... But probably not

^ Prioritize grasshopper. I remember my early (and later) days in the Navy and there was enough to feed the family and keep a roof over our heads, but between deployments and TAD, something always came up that needed fixing, so family first... modding second :)

No worries my family does come first I sold a lot off my 02 wrx I had so most of this is covered. And I have very little debt as it is so we are well taken care of. Do you know a good place to either rent a lift or whatever so I can get this work done

I use the AHS at Goose Creek (outside the back gate at NWS). Longer drive, depending on where you are, is to use the AHS at the AFB. What's your schedule look like?

I live on the weapon station actually I just don't like the help that's here at this ahs. That an I did a vf39 swap and an exhaust swap and they made me do it in the bay outside out back. Right before dark too. I just ordered my tmic and cbe exhaust so I plan on doing it next Wednesday or Thursday after I get off my mid shift

Yeah - several members have had to grind those down, or at least radius it to clear the WG. There's several posts on here about that. Dremel or rat-tailed file will do it - doesn't take much, just need to create clearance on the earlier versions. Newer ones, don't have this issue, IIRC.

If you have someone there with you at the AHS, it seems to work better, especially if you're doing something more advanced than an oil change. PM me your phone number and let's see if we can work out a good time.

I'm down for a get together if y'all will have a wrx in the mix. Got all my parts finally so I'm looking to get them installed next week and be full stage 2 running 18 psi on my vf46 with the upgraded tmic and full tbe. So really I'm a lgt trapped in a wrx body when it's all said and done. Oh and hopefully close to 275 awhp and over 300 awtq

Had a great time the past two days with SBT getting all my mods on to go stage 2. Can't wait for this tank of gas to go by so I can actually throw my stage 2 tune on. Right now I'm running the Econ tune to let the system settle

How does the weekend of the 27th work, probably Saturday or Sunday for a meet/drive here in the Charleston area?

That weekend will be tough for me I'm on my night schedule. I've decided to go e85 I sold my old turbo and some other parts so I will be getting injectors and a fp and doing the work soon. This weekend I should be installing my pillar pod boost gage and Sti pink springs.

Just a quick update I know this thread is rarely used but I still like this community better than the WRX community cause there are more helpful people over here.

Anyways I've decided to go bigger. Sitting in my garage is a 20g turbo. On the way are DW850CC injectors and one of the new DW65c fuel pumps. Since the 20g is an STI style turbo I had to buy a new hose for my TMIC to make it all work. THe turbo is also used for 1500 miles and the IWG was welded shut so I also have on the way a new 38mm EWG setup with TIAL MVS EWG. Along with that I also bought the GS EBCS. I have a 4 day weekend upcoming so I plan on ripping the car apart and reassembling her to get all the mods in that I have mentioned above, and I'm still waiting to put my STI Pinks on. Its going to be a good month of june and hopefully by july after getting a tune and such I'll be pushing around 400awhp. If anyone has experience doing injectors or EWG please send me a pm I would really appreciate some help so this goes off without a hitch. Thank you!

http://img.tapatalk.com/4c176ce2-83de-b1f6.jpg here is my box o goodies. 20g, ewg setup, fueling and new EBCS. Since I know it's gonna be hard to get tuned by Eric for this setup I'm in sc I was gonna go protune at a local shop.

What map should I use to limp to the shop after I get everything in? Or do I need to call them and get one? I really want to roll around awhile and make sure she's ready to go on the street but I know with that list o mods I need a tune badly. Please let me know.

^ Left you a voice message. I'm going to be at the AHS tomorrow to work on my BD. Have several pieces to R&R trans shifter rod bushings (4 on the universal yoke at the transmission end and 2 on the shifter itself), pull the rotors and dress them on the lathe, put on new pads, and flush/bleed the brakes.
