absolutsnwbrdr
Ok so I'm looking at a 2005 Outback 3.0R Sedan and its @ 95,000 miles. Its sitting at an Audi/Porsche Dealer. In 10k miles its going to need the timing belt replaced (and waterpump, since subaru's typically get them done at the same time). What could I expect to pay to have the timing belt and waterpump replaced in 10k miles? Is it reasonable for me to tell them that I want it replaced now and then I'll buy the car? blackfang
Yup, one of the advantages of a 6 cylinder, no t belt. However, the timing chain cover has an ungodly amount of freaking bolts. That is enough to discourage a person as they are also different lengths.
