Scoobeedooby
You may want to do a quick search about stuttering... There are LOTS of threads like this.. Most say that an access port will do the trick in getting the stutter to relax... But more than likely its just the stuttering problem and nothing to be worried about... Just annoyed about! hifonic
IDK it only does it sometimes but it's annoying as hell when it happens
Jacks GT
Its the main problem people have with these cars. There are allsorts of rumors about what causes it but there seems one easy way out either get the ECU reflashed by your dealer or get an COBB access port. Denver133
It's the way that these cars are. My new 08 Spec B does the same thing. I have my preorder in for my AP to get flashed to Stg 1 for now and hopefully that will smooth it out. It did for my 06 wrx.
Guest
Nah. Mine does not stutter, ever.
subiedude
I'm stage II, and one time I went to pass a really slow driver... and went to pass. The car was like as if I was being held back by a chain. Not sure if this was an engine or 5EAT problem. Getting the trans valve body done thispring nonetheless. hifonic
Well hearing that other people have had the same problem is a good thing I guess...
whobaru
Mine stuttered like a beehotch at certain times under certain conditions...mostly when taking off from a stop light on a hot day in the summer. A TDC stage 1 tune for my APV2 solved the problem. I've forgotten all about it.
RangerMan
Mine never stuttered. Two different ECUs (fan relay). Common problem though
