I know I will need to do my head gaskets soon and I wanted to get a little more out of my car so I thought some delta 1500 cams would be a good upgrade, but they are only offered for the SOHCs. So I wanted to grab some SOHC heads and swap them out. But I can't seem to find much info on the swap. Does anyone have any info? **EDIT** found some info, so its not easy.. oh well. It was like $190 for the cam grind on a SOHC and like $600 for the cams to be done on a DOHC. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
johnegg Posted March 18, 2015 Share Posted March 18, 2015 you can put ej22 heads on the ej25 block in your car, heads and intake. but that will not increase your power above the ej25. it may, probably will, change the power curve, more low end power maybe, but not more power over all.
