Legacaurus Wrex
Good Evening All, I have spent today wiring up all of the necessary connections to install a Pioneer AVH 2400BT in my 2010 Legacy GT. I got everything squared away, all connections made, hooked the radio up to give it a try, and low and behold, I am getting no sound. The radio boots fine, switches inputs, plays from iPod, is receiving radio signal, plays a DVD, etc. The adapter I put in to use the steering wheel controls works. But, I am getting no sound whatsoever. I have everything hooked up to the factory amp and speakers temporarily as I am waiting for sound deadening material and some other things before doing the full install. My guess is that the amp is not turning. I think that part of the install process involved repurposing the remote wire that connects to the factory harness as part of the installation of the PAC adapter for the steering wheel controls. Has anyone had this issue? Thanks in advance! -Nick
Legacaurus Wrex
Turns out I cannot read. The remote turn-on wire is part of the second set of connectors. The Crutchfield directions specifically say to splice it in. I missed it. - Nick
