iuksob03 Posted June 9, 2005 Share Posted June 9, 2005 Over the past few days, I've noticed the rear driver side door has felt a bit heavier when trying to shut it. Today I attempted to shut it and it just snapped back like the thing in the door wasn't wrapping arround the latch on the door frame. After a couple minutes of screwing with it, I finally got it shut. It will open and close ok now, but still takes much more effort than the other doors. eamiller Posted June 9, 2005 Share Posted June 9, 2005 Sounds like 1 of 3 possible things I can think of. 1. Latchplate alignment (are the screws tightened down?) 2. Door Handle cable binding (inside or out) 3. Door latch mechanism needs a good squirt of lithium grease Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
