stealitall
I about to buy new tires and I was thinking on going with 225/45/17. But I'm worried about rubbing after installing koni's and H&R springs. So should I stay with the 215/45/17 or go with the 225/45/17. One more Q? is there any Pro or Cons going with the 225 over the 215.. Tire one is 215 ----- Tire 2 is 225 http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g21/stealitall/3483ca02-ac22-43ff-99f8-5e51fa3dfe27_zpsb9fb9760.png
Underdog
You should be just fine, unless you are switching to a low offset wheel. There are no disadvantages to going with the 225; it is only a difference of ~1% over the circumference. The Crimson Dynamo
prodrifterx
Been on 225s on oem wheels and coilovers and overloaded trunk. No rubbing. You'll be ok.

Magna98
I run 225/45/17 blizzaks on my OEM GT wheels and I'm on coilovers, no problem at all.

GTEASER
Truth. I did that once at work I'm guilty of that mistake as well. Needless to say it was a shock, and not the Koni type.
