jp71ss Posted April 26, 2014 Share Posted April 26, 2014 So I got everything back together in my 97GT 5 speed but the starter won't engage like the neutral safety is acting up. I am pretty sure I have all the wires hooked up. I haven't done anything inside except change the shifter to a short shifter. Any ideas to look out for? jp71ss Posted April 28, 2014 Author Share Posted April 28, 2014 Something was stuck in the steering column and whatever is was popped when I turn the steering wheel and now I have a click but starter is not turning.
